Book Club
Strategic branding and digital design for thought leaders: A refined identity and elevated online presence for renowned coach Alyssa Nobriga.
About
Rooted in nostalgia yet designed for the modern reader, this identity blends charm with a global, contemporary feel.
I was approached to create a brand identity for the Mindvalley Book Club - a space where readers, authors, and ideas come together. My goal was to design a visual system that feels warm, timeless, and intellectually grounded. Drawing from retro editorial aesthetics and classic literary inspiration, I crafted a brand that is modern, approachable, and built to connect with a global audience across digital platforms, events, and merchandise.

The Challenge
The Challenge
A global community of readers needed one warm, unified identity - a cozy home for meaningful conversations.
The Book Club was bringing together readers from all over the world, but the experience felt fragmented. There was no single visual language connecting the podcast, author events, social content, or community touchpoints. To create a sense of belonging, the brand needed a cohesive identity that felt nostalgic, welcoming, and instantly recognizable. My role was to build that foundation from scratch - a warm, retro-inspired system that could unite the entire experience and give the community one cozy place to gather, learn, and connect.

Solution
Solution
I created a warm, retro-inspired identity from the ground up - giving the global Book Club one cohesive visual home.
To unify readers across platforms and countries, I designed a complete brand identity system rooted in nostalgia, warmth, and editorial charm. Every element - from the logo to the color palette, typography, and layout motifs - was crafted to evoke the feeling of a cozy reading nook. The goal was to make the experience feel familiar, inviting, and instantly recognizable across podcast episodes, author events, social media, and merchandise.
Key Deliverables:
Brand Identity: Custom logo suite, retro-inspired wordmark, and cohesive visual motifs.
Color & Typography System: Warm, nostalgic palette and classic editorial type pairing.
Podcast & Social Templates: Episode covers, author features, weekly promo kits, and event graphics.
Marketing Collaterals: Posters, merchandise, print assets, and community materials.

Concept
Every design choice was guided by a warm, contemporary editorial aesthetic.
For the Book Club, I wanted the visual identity to feel fresh, modern, and globally accessible, while still carrying a sense of warmth and personality. The palette, typography, and layout system were inspired by contemporary book design — bold, clean, and intentional. My focus was to create a look that feels current and stylish, yet inviting enough to reflect the emotional connection people have with reading.
The result is a cohesive, contemporary brand system that feels friendly, memorable, and instantly recognizable across all touchpoints.
