Relational Life Therapy
Bringing therapeutic depth to life through refined, educational design - this booklet captures the essence of Terry Real’s relational work with clarity, structure, and soul.
About
Relational Life Therapy is an immersive, high-impact coaching method developed by renowned psychotherapist Terry Real.
When his team approached me, the goal was to create a certification guide that didn’t just explain the process, but embodied the depth and sophistication of the work itself. This project involved designing a multi-format booklet that could serve as both a detailed educational resource and an elegant marketing tool - helping professionals understand, feel, and trust the journey ahead.

The Challenge
The Challenge
A complex certification system needed clarity, structure, and emotional resonance.
The Relational Life Institute had a powerful methodology and an established reputation - but its existing materials lacked cohesion, visual storytelling, and strategic flow. The challenge was to distill a multi-level training program into a format that was easy to follow, emotionally engaging, and visually refined. The guide needed to speak to professionals from various backgrounds - some therapists, some coaches, some brand new to the field - while staying true to the Institute’s deep therapeutic philosophy.

Solution
Solution
A refined, multi-format booklet that blends beauty, clarity, and educational depth.
I designed a fully customizable, user-friendly guide that leads the reader through the certification experience with grace and precision. Soft color palettes, spacious layouts, and intuitive structure were used to balance the weight of the content with a sense of calm. Quotes, imagery, and tonal pacing invite the reader to slow down and connect with the material on both a personal and professional level.
Key Deliverables
Booklet Design: Complete visual system for the certification guide
Custom Layouts: Strategic flow for multiple modules, learning paths, and course pillars
Modular Assets: Editable versions across Figma, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Pages
Multi-Use Utility: Functions as both a lead-generation tool and onboarding manual
The result is a brand asset that doesn’t just inform - it builds trust, invites transformation, and reflects the quality of the training it represents.

Concept
Concept
Structure meets soul - a design system that mirrors the method itself.
The creative direction was rooted in the core philosophy of RLT: emotional honesty, connection, and transformative growth. The visual language mirrors that - sophisticated but grounded, clean but personal. Layouts follow a clear visual rhythm, while type hierarchy and color tonality support cognitive ease. The concept was simple: if the program is designed to guide you through relational mastery, then the design must do the same - with warmth, clarity, and intention.
